Ford Pro Roadshow AR

While at Imagination I had the pleasure of working on an AR app as part of the Ford Pro Roadshow.

This AR app was designed to show details of the Ford E-Transit van.

My role on the project was mainly to optimise the 3d models used in the app based on supplied CAD data. The bulk of the work was remodelling the van itself for use in AR. The CAD model we were supplied was over 10 million polygons and the subsequent model I created was 76,000 polygons.

Other internal parts were optimised as well such as the battery and brake systems as well as add-ons such as a crane or shelving units.

I also did some work on creating shaders and transition effects within Unity.
